Profile

The Profile tab shows what every Kalem transaction of the session spent (The profiler).

• At the top: Arrange by (Script, Object, Trigger), a search, and the selected range.
• The timeline is in game time: every bar is the work done in those minutes, stacked by series. A series keeps its colour for the whole session; after 7 series the rest is Other.
• The strip above the timeline marks the moments that started transactions: a timer ○, an event ◆, the start □, an error in red ✕.
• Work is a share of a transaction's budget; no technical unit is shown.
• Dragging selects a range, a click clears it. The pointer shows all of a bar's series and moments. The search narrows the timeline and the table together.
• The table groups the selected range: runs, share of work, the most of the budget used, time (ms), fields written, errors; below it, a total.
• On the right, the selected row's details (or the whole session's): its instances (Instance, State, Memory, Next timer), and how its work splits across functions (Function, Script, Work, Runs, Line); a double click on a function opens its script at that line.
