Environment

An .environment document is how the world looks, as an Environment in Godot: it reads the time and the weather, and decides nothing. The world points at its environment (World).

The Design tab is a form, with Preview at the top:

Section
Sunwhen the sun rises and sets in the middle of every season; the days in between change day by day
Day, Golden hour, Nightthree looks: the sun high, the sun low, and after dusk (the light is the moon's). Each has Sky, Light, Light strength, Ambient (the light in shadow) and Ambient strength.
Fogits density; fog takes the sky's colour
Weatherone card per weather: Key, Label, Clouds (greys the sky and dims the sun), Fog (added to the fog), Precipitation (rain and snow are not drawn yet)

A new environment starts with times close to Ankara's and five weathers: Clear, Cloudy, Rainy, Snowy and Foggy.

The view draws it: the sun rises in the east, stands in the south at noon and sets in the west, climbing higher on long days; the looks blend softly into each other. The scene is lit by the sun, the ambient light and the fog. Without an environment, the editor keeps its own light.

Environment Preview

Environment Preview (Sakin › Tool Windows) opens by itself, without taking focus, when an environment is opened, and closes when the last one does. It follows the environment chosen last, and shows a package of the project that has a model (buildings first) in the chosen Model, Date, Weather and Time. The choices are the editor's, kept in the project, not in the document.

It is a tool window: it docks, floats, or goes to a window of its own (on a second screen too). The preview runs no scripts.
